All our customers will have benefited from our low prices during the summer period. However, there is always a sting in the tail, timber machining production is at an all time low and our mills are struggling to make ends meet at this time. As a result of this the mills have increased the price of our shavings from the first of September instead of the first of October as is normal and the increase has been slightly more than we anticipated against what we have seen in previous years. Demand has been high during the summer mainly due to the weather and a second fire at one of our mills has greatly reduced the amount of bales we have been able to put by for winter stock. There is some good news, the mill will be in full production again by the 3rd October which means we will have more shavings available for new and existing customers.

These are readily available at present and are a cost effective alternative to our 'Superior' shavings. These shavings make a fantastic deep bed so you need less to fill each stall.
